Terms of Service
Last updated : June 21, 2026
These terms of service (the Terms) govern access to and use of Hecaton. By using Hecaton, you accept these Terms.
Purpose
Hecaton is an online service (SaaS) for running AI coding agents in parallel on managed, isolated compute. These Terms set out how you may access the hecaton.io site and the related service. For commercial matters, they are completed by our Terms of Sale.
Acceptance and changes
Using the service means you fully accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
YV may change these Terms at any time. The version that applies is the one in force when you use the service. Users are informed of material changes.
The service
Hecaton provides, among other things:
- Access to the Hecaton application and isolated runners started on demand for active workspaces.
- Running several AI coding agents in parallel.
- Web access from any device, desktop and mobile.
- Built-in Git and pull requests.
- MCP tool integrations and built-in browser automation.
- Live preview URLs, scheduled (cron) runs and webhook triggers.
The service is reached through app.hecaton.io. Workspaces and runners are created inside the product as needed. Features may change over time.
Access and account
Using the service requires an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out from your account.
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. The service is not intended for minors.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the service in line with the law and these Terms. The following are prohibited:
- Any unlawful use or use that infringes the rights of others.
- Any attempt to bypass the isolation, the security or the limits of the service.
- Running malicious code for the purpose of attack or intrusion.
- Deliberately disrupting or overloading the infrastructure.
- Reselling or making the service available to third parties without authorization.
You are solely responsible for the code, data and instructions you run through the service.
Provider credentials and third-party services
You connect your own provider credentials, which may be API keys or supported subscription credentials. You are responsible for complying with those providers' terms and for the costs of your usage.
YV stays neutral toward providers and is not a party to the relationship between you and them.
Intellectual property
YV retains all intellectual property rights in the service, its software, its brand and its content.
You keep all your rights in the content, code and data you process through the service. You grant YV only the technical rights needed to host and deliver the service.
Availability and maintenance
YV uses reasonable means to keep the service available. Interruptions may occur, in particular for maintenance, updates or in the event of force majeure. Any service-level commitments are set out in the Terms of Sale or in a specific contract.
Liability
The service is provided as described at the time you use it. YV is not liable for indirect damage, nor for the consequences of how you use the service, the code you run or the output produced by the agents. You remain responsible for checking and using that output.
These limitations apply to the extent permitted by law. They do not reduce the rights consumers have under it.
Suspension and termination
YV may suspend or terminate access in the event of a breach of these Terms, abuse or a risk to the security of the service. How to close an account is set out in our Terms of Sale.
Personal data
How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute over their interpretation or performance falls to the competent French courts. Consumers may use a consumer mediation scheme, under the conditions set out in our Terms of Sale.
This document is provided in English for convenience. It is governed by French law. The French version prevails in case of discrepancy.
